Povzetek

The objective of our team is to create a typical Spanish “Bar de Tapas” in Ljubljana.  We want to introduce to a country like Slovenia a different kind of enjoying free time in a restaurant. The offer will consist on a place where people can have some drinks and will be given a free “tapa” with their order.

A “tapa” is a very common and traditional thing in Spain. It consists on a small dish with a little amount food that is given freely by the waiter or waitress when a person orders a drink in a bar. It is normal in Spain and it works really good, everyone likes it and it is proved that the bars that offers better quality and quantity “tapas” are the most successful ones.

The members of our team have noticed that is not usual outside our country and that is visionary and innovative to implant this in countries like Slovenia. We want to develop such an Spanish fascinating custom into a triumphant company in eastern countries.

Going straight to our concrete purpose, we want to open a Bar the Tapas in one of the riverbanks, which is crowded of cafes, but this bar is going to set the difference and attract the attention of almost every walker.

The bar will have a lot of differences with the nearby cafes and restaurants:
  • First of all the decoration will move the customer into a traditional Spanish bar, the one where flamenco songs where sang and where bohemians writers and artist of 19th Spanish century were inspired.
  • Secondly, the diversity of people it could attract: from youths to middle-aged people, couples, businessmen/women, families…
  • The third and principal advantage will be the “tapas”. Spanish gastronomy is well-known for being a Mediterranean diet: Olive oil, dried ham, olives, tomatoes, peppers, fruit, wine… considered healthy and with a lot of benefits for human organism.
  • Such an innovative and cheap way of sharing food with friends, relatives and colleagues will attract Slovenians into the deep Spanish gastronomy.

 

The objective of the company is to create a nice bar based on Spanish traditions, foods and ambience and implant it into Eastern countries in order to make them feel in their cold winters like if they were in our warm home country. We want to develop a firm and set up different bars through all Europe, centering in capitals with large number of inhabitants such as Ljubljana, Prague and Wien, which are our following objectives.
