Opis projekta (produkta, storitve)

Thinking about sustainability and a way to clean our planet, and at the same time provide a service or product we propose a scheme for a prosperous business, the “Blue Adventure”. The whole idea is based on the adventure guild system, which offers the missions to the newcomers (customers) to clean the environment and raise awareness of the ecology. Once the missions are completed, our adventures (customers who get the membership) will win rewards. Compensations would be feasible thanks to partners. Generally, we would operate as a touristic agency who would give an opportunity to people to travel to places who before could not. In addition, we provide family-oriented services consisting of childcare and fun family activities.
An example of a mission would be cleaning beaches. That activity can be performed individually or join a group that will do the same mission. Once the objective of getting two bags of waste is achieved, they would bring it to our agency, and we would reward them with a boat trip through the Slovenian coast. The collected waste would be then sold to the recycling companies, in order for us to make some additional profit to afford rewards and join in sustainable campaigns.

When we first started thinking about what kind of business we wanted to do and that it would satisfy our customers, something they need, and help the environment. While brainstorming, we knew that there were little things that could potentially have all the criteria fulfilled and make our business stable to operate. Not until we came up with Blue Adventure did we realize it was possible, but soon after we hit the realization that we lack the funds and knowledge for that idea to be realized. The project itself is good but demands a lot of things for us to own and know. Thankfully the knowledge is not hard to obtain as most members are young and hardworking, which we can learn the way of how to handle such type od the business as well manage it. The problem with finances is that we are still students who can only work through the summer and there is a limit to how much we could earn and save. When thinking about how could we realize our idea and finance it, we realized that there are many sites such as crowdfunding and startups that donate to business ideas that have potential, so we would focus on trying to find someone who could potentially help us at our beginning.

Tveganja in izzivi realizacije (Risks and challenges)

The biggest risk is that we would not have a lot of customers in the first year of our business. We are aware of the risk that no matter how good a business idea is, that can end in a year of working.  So the first year would be the most significant risk and challenge for us. No matter what, we think that we have the knowledge needed to get people to come and take our services and support us in our idea's vision. another and most likely challenging thing would be the competitors that are already in the market and have a considerable lead in means of development of the business, knowledge, and establishment of their name.

Časovnica izvedbe (Timeline)

We had a long time to discuss how much we want to cover (nations) with our business and how much is it realistic to do. So we decided on having 3 nations which we want to cover with our service and missions system and that are Slovenia, Italy, and Croatia. We thought that it would be safe to cover the coast side that is most popular and would surely have people's interest. Italy and Croatia are most known for the Summer part of the year and Slovenia for the winter part. With that in mind, we would in the first year focus on these 3 countries and have the trips to the most visited places that usually tourist take, but in the same year, we would take time to research more trips that would focus on unfamiliar places and make more of adventure trips for those who want to spend their time exploring the nature's beauty that these 3 countries have and popularize adventure like trips. In the second year, we would want to focus on slowly bettering our mission system and take from first-year profits to be invested in the system. We think that the mission system will blow up in the first year if it would be advertised as it is planned and it would has the same hype which would be good for us to upgrade it and clearly distinguish ourselves from our competitors. In the third and fourth years, if we would have great success, we would start slowly start expanding our services in more international markets and broadcast ourselves ( if we are not already known in that nation, we have plans that we would go international only to places that we have our customers need for us to bring our influence there). In the ten years, we would be known as an international travel agency that not only gives services but also cares for the people, their needs and the environment. 

O nas (Team)

The project is to have a travel agency that would all kinds of package trips, being from basics and adding additional things to it (more vacation-like trips) and having trips that are more organized to have an adventure and fully see the beauty of the country. With this we would be working like any normal agency company that gives such services, the only distinguishing thing that we would also offer is the mission (membership) system. To explain it better, not only are we travel agencies but we will also act as an adventure guild. In game terms, we would be an organization that serves as an adventurer-for-hire service for the people for missions of different difficulties and in return pay them for their service. In professional terms, we would be an organization that serves people who are willing to do a work (related to the environmental problems such as pollution) and depending on the difficulty of the mission, we would offer vouchers who are the same weight as the missions (for example, the mission is to clean the Mokra macka beach and you need to fill in 2 bags full of things that need to be recycled; for the reward of that mission you would get a voucher to have a boat trip on whole coast side of Slovenia). We would not charge any fees for the membership and you would join the adventurer community we would build. With this, we could potentially make the community closer and help make relationships between members which would make missions even more enjoyable. This will also help to bring awareness of the environmental problem we have and educate members of this problem and grow the influence of stopping those actions (to pollute the environment).
