Summary

Our  main purpose is to connect the community, to make searching for information easier for everyone and provide a time effective and a cost efficient way to do so. We offer an app that contains all the events happening in Slovenia and its easy to use. Partifly is meant to eliminate the lack of information about social events around Slovenia, decrease high costs for advertisement by the event organizers and to cut the time needed for searching information about events. It is meant for people who want to explore the social life in Slovenia, but also for businesses who want to increase their popularity in the public's eye. We do this by providing true and understandable info about different types of events that satisfy every type of customer and making it widely accessible. We earn revenues by monetizing the app and by collecting fees from the event organizers featured in our app.

 
 
 

Project description (product, service)

Partifly is a free app, which provides accurate information about events happening around Slovenia at all times. Since there is lack of information about these events, our app will be super beneficial for not only the Slovene people but also tourists and foreign students. Another benefit would be having to spend less time to search the internet to get to the information they need and its available for everybody not just people who use Facebook (method of current marketing according by the market research).

After the conducted research on this market, we found out that clubs spend a lot of money for advertisement and there is still lack of information. Since everybody got a smart phone in their pocket these days, the lack of information will be solved. The subscription costs are very little so the event holders will have huge financial benefit in not only the advertisement segment but also profit from the bigger interest.

Where / Why We Need Help (Money, Knowledge, Other Resources)

The main reason why we need help is to develop the app and manage it. We have to have a partnership with IT developers who will help us with the design and maintaining the app. Afterwards, we need money for advertisement. We will use social media like Facebook and Instagram to make our app visible in the public's eye in the beginning, and later we will require money to pay promoters and flyer companies to advertise the app.  We need money for covering travel costs when we will sign the contracts with our B2B customers, and have a personal relationship with them.  We also need financial resources to cover the registration costs on Google adsense and Smaato for having the app available and monetized.

Risks and challenges

Our risks are not having enough profit and loosing our personal savings, to not be popular enough in the customer's eyes.

Some fears our business customers might have regarding our app are the following: not being so organized as it should; contains irrelevant and out of date information; paying for something that is not efficient; not attracting as many customers as they want; the app might not be so popular among their target market; not have a good advertising.

The following are some fears that our individual customers might have: unorganized app; having insufficient information about the events; not providing information about every event; viruses; app that crashes too often; app that is not build properly; having difficulties to find all information;

Timeline

We plan to develop our application in May. By this time we will decide on the final design, features and spendings. By the end of May we will start contacting our potential B2B customers and sign contracts with them. And also start inserting the events in the app and expect to have our first individual customers. Parallelly we will advertise our app to the mentioned channels above.

We are the Fantistic 4. Each of us has different abilities, capabilities and characteristics that are needed for successful development of this project. For example iniciative, persuasiveness, hard work, motivation and self-efficacy.

Our team leader is Anamarija Radojkova which helped us be persistent and to never be satisfied with anything that is less than perfect.

Hristiyan Yovanov made this project possible with his creativeness and visualizing the final product, he gave us the basic idea how it will look.

Sibel Imerovska with her calmness and intellectuality made us trust even more in this project and made us understand that success sometimes requires patience.

Loic Lambourg although he joined us a week later, his immense experience in the sector helped us develop even more.
